hello, i’m dan [hi, this is me] -- a freelance writer and story-focused creative / cd based in london.

i work across all things film, editorial, branding, campaigns, ux and experience design, always with an eye on story. that’s my jam.

i love to pair up with super talented visual artists, designers, animators, and directors to bring fun high impact work together across channels and formats. guiding narrative and strategy, building worlds, and writing words.

over the past 7+ years, i’ve headed up a multi-geo editorial network for today at apple-- apple’s global creative arts and speaker series [this, if you don’t know]-- shaping local arts, music, culture and education programming as it’s grown across the uk, europe, and asia. a lot fun stuff happening, a little glimpse here.

i also regularly lead global creative work for apple retail, branding new initiatives, like this, designing irl learning experiences, like this, shaping in-app content, like this, and developing youtube series, like this-- all focused on creative learning, and involving an unseemly amount of pitch decks, playbooks, storyboards, and prototypes. also my jam.

i’ve worked with a bunch of other brands too.

like beats, it’s nice that, marvel/disney, movember, samsung, expedia, dogs trust, pepsico, picnic, the dots, tiger beer, clearscore, the fca, fever-tree, as well as other Apple teams.

plus time at agencies savvy, reading room, and boulder.

i’ve also written for the independent on tech, travel and education, supported local non-profits irmo and people’s palace projects on messaging strategy, and had a 5-star fringe play.
