Draw Your Tree

As part of Apple’s now annual Christmas campaign at Battersea Power Station, I created the in-person session experience that invited the UK to draw their own tree on iPad, with selected designs projected onto the Power Station throughout December alongside works by leading British artists.

I led the development of a new 30-minute Today at Apple workshop format, designed to be accessible to everyone, of every age and level of experience. The session centred on drawing with iPad and Apple Pencil, breaking illustration down into simple, playful techniques.

The experience launched in Apple Stores nationwide, acting as the public entry point to the wider campaign. It translated a large-scale, high-profile projection into something personal and hands-on, giving people a clear, creative route to seeing their work appear on one of London’s most recognisable landmarks.

Alongside the in-store experience, I created supporting marketing elements for the campaign, ensuring a consistent, welcoming tone across physical, digital and editorial touchpoints.

The result was a nationwide creative invitation that turned drawing on iPad into a shared seasonal moment.
