YEAR: 2016
“One of the most bizarre pieces of theatre I’ve come across. It’s also one of the most lovable.”
In 2016, I wrote a play with a friend about a troubled army veteran trying to come to terms with normal life at a Butlins waterpark. It’s hard to explain, anyway.
The piece was picked up and produced by the Dirty Rascals theatre company, then performed at the 2016 Camden and Wandsworth Fringe Festivals (with an all-female cast).
And it went well. We enjoyed cosy, sell-out runs at both festivals and recieved a lovely mix of 4-star and 5-star reviews.
